Buying Adsense safe traffic

Just got an email about another Google Adsense account being blocked, apparently for no reason at all. I analysed client’s traffic stats and backlinks and found a reason. Here are some questions and answers about that specific case that can come in handy for you.

Ever stumbled upon seller trying to sell you big amount of “Adsense safe” traffic for your website? Smaller marketplaces are crowded with offers like that, usually selling 5000 to 10000 unique visitors for 5$.

Be careful and read on!

Google guidelines say buying traffic for Adsense sites is safe only if it’s legit. Many of sellers are selling artificial traffic of bots and real traffic through spam. If you aren’t sure about traffic’s source, don’t buy it. If any bot clicks on your ad, Google will know it.

  • How can Google know if visitors are not humans, but artificial bots?

Easy question, although I don’t know exactly, I can give you an easy answer. Google is a multi billion dollar company, they send space shuttles in outer space, they already own technology mortals can only dream about in the next 10 years. Google is the largest online company and if they wanted, they would know when you change your underwear. It’s just that simple.

  • How can I make sure I won’t get banned again?

Don’t buy cheap traffic! Instead of buying cheap traffic, focus on targeted traffic and relevant clicks. Adsense business is a long time business. Nothing will come over night unless your website is a big boom in the market. But if your website is a big boom with tons of visitors, there is 99% possibility you can get more earnings with something better and more relevant to your website than Adsense.

If you buy cheap traffic and you trust seller, track visitors through Google Analytics. Check out source of new traffic, if it comes from a suspicions site, full of suspicious scripts and no content, you are in trouble. Contact Google team through your Adsense account about that, so they will tell you exactly if traffic is safe or not.

Imagine having 3 Adsense websites earning 20$ per day with Adsense on each. 60$ per day means 1800$ per month. Would you sell all 3 of them for 300$? If so, not just online business, but business in general isn’t for you.

Micro niche research | How to find a goldmine

Micro niche research | How to find a goldmine

Earnings with micro niche sites is a perfect business for beginners in online marketing. It doesn’t take a lot of time to set up micro niche website, most crucial part of that is finding the right niche that will make you a decent money. My first website was a fail in that direction. I didn’t know what affiliate marketing was back then and I didn’t know CPC varies for different niches. So I chose an automotive niche, hoping to make thousands of dollars with Adsense ads. Reality was different of course, that niche had a very low CPC, niche was too general to get solid clicks on ads, maximum I could get from that site was about 100$ with traffic 50.000 per month. Don’t make the same mistake.

Perfect micro niche website:

  • Has low competition and it’s easy to rank among first results in search engines
  • Usually has 8.000 to 30.000 monthly searches
  • 30.000 or less search results
  • CPC is at least 1$
  • Good options for affiliate sales

How to find a perfect micro niche? Google Adwords Keyword tool is a free tool for that. It shows CPC, local and local and global monthly searches, average CPC… Google’s competition measuring is inaccurate for high searched keywords.

There is one tool, first tool for IM i have ever bought and it was worth every penny of it: Market Samurai. It speeds up process of keyword / niche research and it saves a lot of time. Click on image below and sign up to Market Samurai and download your trial copy for free. Check it out, it won’t cost you anything.

Whole idea of micro niche websites is guaranteed top rankings in search engines. They don’t have a big potential like big niche sites, but it’s a lot easier to bring micro niche website to it’s maximum.

You can’t make millions with micro niche website, but there are webmasters running hundreds of micro niche websites at once. It main sound a lot of work, but with established high CTR template and SEO knowledge that’s an easy job. Micro niche websites are easy to maintain, one static html page with 500 word article and good SEO optimization is a perfect start for every online money maker.

Banned – Google Adsense common mistakes

When Google decides to ban your Adsense account, consequences can be drastic. Especially if you are beginner in IM scene, Google bans newbies who make mistakes very fast. And a second chance opportunity usually doesn’t exist. Huge websites with 1000$ of Adsense profit per day get thousands of clicks every day, few % of those clicks are always invalid. But if you just started your Adsense story and you get 5 clicks per day and 2 of them are invalid, you’re in trouble. Avoid common Adsense mistakes and read on.

1. Don’t click on your ads and don’t tell others to click on them.

Thinking about clicking your own ads? 90% of Adsense newbies are thinking about bypassing rules and get rich from Adsense right from the start. Google is launching satellites in space, they have multi billion dollars worth technology, their software is the most advanced software in the world. Thinking about making fast profit bypassing their rules is a complete nonsense. Google knows where your traffic comes from, so forget about it.

2.Poor content

Your website has to have unique content. If you steal content from others and copy articles, you can’t use Google Adsense on that website. Google is very much aware of plagiarism, you can make some money for a while but in few months your Adsense account will get blocked and your money will go down the toilet. Rich and unique content is the key for Adsense ads and SERP rankings.

3. Fake traffic

Organic traffic is the most legit traffic for any website. Forget buying traffic from link farms and traffic exchange websites, Google is against that. Work on your search engine optimization and social media marketing.

4. Modifying Adsense code

Code of Adsense ads is as it is and you aren’t allowed to change it. Ad units must be seen as they are, you also aren’t allowed to modify their looks or shape with your html/css code. Changing colors and size in Adsense platform is the only change you are allowed to make. We would all make twice as much money if there wasn’t “Ads by Google” sign in Adsense units, but Google is the boss and you should respect your boss.

5. Privacy Policy

Google demands every website with Adsense to have a special privacy policy page.

“AdSense publishers must have and abide by a privacy policy that discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your users’ browsers, or using web beacons to collect information as a result of ad serving on your website.”

Adsense layout rules

Did you ever run on a website with Adsense and poor layout? It might seemed poor, but stylistic design and Adsense optimized design are 2 completely different things.

Adsense website layout rules:

1. Focus on top of your website

80+% of clicks are generated on Adsense ads placed near the top of the page.  Minimum of 2 Adsense ad units near the top of page are necessary. Near menu bar, header and on top before content are the best Adsense placement possible.

2. Blend with content

If you have white background with black fonts, of course it might seem flashy ads would be the best option, but people don’t click on flashy ads because they look like spam. Main rule of Adsense optimization is blending ads with content. If ads look like content, your visitors will actually read them and click on them.

3. Images or text units

That depends on your niche very much. If your site is about micro niche like specific software for guitar, there is a high possibility there aren’t many image units available to suit your content. On the other hand if your site is about big niche like Android games, there are tons of Adsense ads available for visitors to click. There isn’t a golden rule about it, but it’s true that younger audience prefers clicking on image units.

4. Adsense units size

Most effective Adsense units are 728 x 90 Leaderboard, 336 x 280 Large Rectangle and 160 x 600 Wide Skyscraper.

5. Keep your layout clean

Adsense ads must look like a part of your website, if your ads are standing out from the rest of content, that’s a bad thing. Focus on clean design, all alignments and paddings.

6. Left side > Right side

95% of people first check out left side of website because that’s where they start to read. So ads placed on the left side will have more CTR than ads on right side.
