Facebook is focusing on limiting accounts to 1 per single user. Hypocritical terms are continuing. In an interview not so long ago, reporter asked Zuckerberg about all viruses and scammers on Facebook and safety of users. Zuckerberg said people should not use their real identities in order to avoid being scammed. Now Facebook is aiming for real identities.
What is next? Phone verification? Personal ID verification?
Let us return to single account per user. It’s business as usual. Facebook succeeded because of marketing possibilities that it offers. Now when Facebook is the no.2 biggest online company, they will limit everything they think doesn’t get them enough money. It’s not just a safety approach to avoid scamming, we all know that. There has been a debate with a survey few months ago on a local webmaster forum about Facebook accounts. More than 70% of webmasters have been using more than 1 Facebook account basically for marketing use. It seems it is all going down slowly for Facebook.
